Out of my Mind

Sure, it was lots of fun to make all those 1915 Priscilla motifs.  And in size 20, they make nice big pieces.  But I must have been out of my mind to decide to sew them onto a quilt square.  I've been at it ever so long.  I kept hearing Carl Sagan's voice saying, "billions and billions of picots."  All done now, thank goodness.

  2. Oh dear me! I imagine it takes almost as long to sew them on as to tat them, and not nearly as much fun. Looks great though.

  10. Just tatting all those picots would be daunting for me! I can't imagine sewing them all down!

Carl Sagan was mesmerizing. His voice was so unique and his explanations about the Universe were so captivating!

Happy Tatting Day! You're a 'star' yourself!

  11. Hey! I can hear him too! Those are certainly lovely pieces. If every you do it again, just make enough picots to hold it to the quilt. ;)
